Stats4Students aims to become the best source of free statistical resources on the Internet. Our mission is to help improve the level of statistics education and in so doing, students’ statistical abilities. We aim to do this by providing a wide range of free statistical resources for students, which we intend to continue developing:

Statistical Guides
Our statistical guides cover the essentials (i.e. descriptive and inferential statistics, types of variables, measures of central tendency, measures of spread, frequency distributions, z-score, hypothesis testing, and sampling), selecting statistical tests, parametric tests (i.e. independent and dependent t-test, one-way and two way ANOVA, correlation, regression, multiple regression) and non-parametric tests (i.e. Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon’s signed rank test).

Test Yourself
We have amassed over 1000 statistical question and answers for students to test themselves. These span 10 statistical tests (i.e. z-scores, independent and dependent t-test, one-way and two way ANOVA, correlation, regression, multiple regression, Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon’s signed rank test) and 16 subject areas (i.e. aerospace engineering, automotive engineering, biochemical engineering, architectural studies, biochemistry, biology, business studies, chemical engineering, civil engineering, economics and international development, mathematical sciences, pharmacology, physics, psychology, social sciences, and sports science). Students can build their own tests, choosing which statistical tests and subjects they want to answer questions on, as well as check their answers against our solutions.

SPSS/Minitab Guides
Since many students use SPSS and Minitab to run a number of statistical tests that help them to analyse their data, our SPSS/Minitab guides show how to use these packages for each of the statistical tests covered by our statistical guides.
